WESTERN SYDNEY INTERNATIONAL 24-HOUR CARGO PRECINCT

Equilibrium Air Conditioning is thrilled to provide cutting-edge HVAC solutions for the Western Sydney International (WSI) Airport’s state-of-the-art 24-hour Cargo Precinct. This development marks a significant milestone in boosting Australia’s supply chain infrastructure and elevating the efficiency of air cargo operations.

The new precinct is set to increase Sydney’s air cargo capacity by approximately 33%, catering to the growing demands of global commerce, e-commerce and specialised handling, such as pharmaceuticals and cool chain products. The facility will feature up to 75,000 square meters of warehouse space and will service up to eight wide-body aircraft simultaneously.

Equilibrium Air Conditioning will proudly partner to implement innovative and energy-efficient HVAC systems for the precinct, ensuring the facilities meet the highest operational standards. We understand the critical importance of maintaining optimal climate control for sensitive cargo and our systems will be designed to uphold these stringent requirements.

The Scale of the Project

WSI’s Cargo Precinct is not just another logistical hub; it represents a transformative approach to cargo handling with a focus on sustainability, efficiency, and future-proofing. With top-tier operators like Qantas Freight and Menzies Aviation already on board, the precinct will provide direct connectivity between freighters, terminals and road transport, ensuring streamlined cargo handling across Australia’s growing logistics ecosystem.
