BRINE ICE MACHINE: STATE OF THE ART SUSTAINABLE ENGINEERING

We are thrilled to announce the arrival of our latest innovation, all the way from Germany—the Brine Ice Machine has reached the new Sydney Fish Market (nSFM)! This groundbreaking project is a collaboration between ECJV and KTI-Plersch Kältetechnik GmbH.

Unique Design: Our new Brine Ice Machine features a state-of-the-art brine heat exchanger (HEX), utilising Hycool as a medium to efficiently transfer heat to the site’s low-temperature brine circuit. This HEX connects Hycool to Temper-40, optimising performance.

Peak Performance: During its peak operation, the combined systems can produce an impressive 43 tonnes of ice every 24 hours!

Sustainable Impact: This value-engineered solution significantly reduces CO2 emissions for the project, spearheaded in partnership with Multiplex and Infrastructure NSW (iNSW). In fact, our solution is expected to cut CO2 usage by reducing 25% of the CO2 kWr and lower annual energy consumption by 5-30% compared to traditional cooling systems.

At Equilibrium Air Conditioning we’re proud to push the boundaries of sustainable engineering and help our clients achieve their environmental and financial goals. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to lead in eco-friendly construction innovations.
