MAJOR MILESTONE FOR ECJV AT THE NEW SYDNEY FISH MARKET

Equilibrium Air Conditioning and Climatech are thrilled to announce the arrival of our first batch of ammonia compressors to the new Sydney Fish Market (nSFM) site. This is a crucial step in delivering the project’s central cooling plant, which will be the heartbeat of the entire market’s refrigeration system.

These compressors will power a state-of-the-art ammonia plant, providing the essential cooling power for everything from freezers and cool rooms to the HVAC system that keeps the entire building comfortable for visitors and workers alike.

Big shout out to our incredible team at Multiplex and Corellian for their expertise in executing our design and sequencing on-site.

What’s so cool about these compressors?

They’ll power an ammonia plant that drops temperatures from ambient 29.5°C all the way down to a frosty -31°C. This will feed a secondary brine loop to ensure the fish storage areas are perfectly chilled. ECJV (Equilibrium and Climatech Joint Venture) is proud to be part of this iconic project with Multiplex and iNSW and can’t wait to share more updates as we progress!
